We build your plan using conservative numbers, not best-case scenarios. That way, even in a down market, you’re protected.

  • We add 1–2% to interest rates and expenses, even if the market is currently more favourable.
  • We include at least two weeks of vacancy each year to account for any rental gaps.
  • We drop rental income expectations by $20–$30 per week, just to be safe.

What’s included in the strategy?

The strategy includes an analysis of your current financial situation, goal setting, selecting the right investment model, reviewing different property pathways and how they could align with your goals, creating an investment timeline, and financial modelling based on a worst-case scenario.

Am I required to invest after the session?

No. This session is to give you clarity, in fact, property doesn’t come into the mix until we’re actually clear on our numbers, what we want to achieve and how property would work for you. Property comes later at your Property Acquisition Session.

Can I change my goals after the first session?

Yes. Life changes, and so do plans. We can adjust your strategy anytime to reflect your updated goals or circumstances.

What if my income is unstable?

We’ve helped many clients with variable or self-employed income. Our strategy is built around buffers and flexibility to suit your situation.

What if I’m not ready to buy yet?

No problem. The strategy is still worth doing, a lot of our clients started of not feeling ready or even thinking it was all possible and all they needed was clarity. We give you a clear plan to work toward that helps you avoid costly mistakes later.

Do I need to own a home first?

No. Many of our clients are renters. Some use savings, others access equity through family, and many explore investing through their SMSF (Self-Managed Super Fund). If SMSF investing is relevant to you, we’ll refer you to an expert who can provide the appropriate advice. Your plan will be built around whatever structure suits your situation best.

How accurate are the forecasts?

The forecasts in your strategy plan are designed to be conservative, not optimistic. We build in buffers for interest rate rises, rental vacancies, and lower-than-expected rent. These aren’t predictions, no one has a magical crystal ball at the end of the day. They’re “what if” models that help us plan for the worst and show what’s still possible. If the strategy stacks up using those numbers, you’ll be in an even better position when things go right.
